The two sanctuaries of the God and the Goddess are off limits to non Hindus. This begins a tour of the large areas outside those sanctuaries.
At 9:30 P.M. each evening the God is transported, with great fanfare, from his own sanctuary to spend the night with his consort in her sanctuary.
He is transported on the shoulder of priests in a curtained compartment, being constantly fanned by other priests. This is a brief stop on that journey.
